Taking into account these inconsistencies, this article seeks to investigate the main tensions generated in the results on how individual differences affect the functioning of work teams. To achieve this, ten articles from scientific journals are chosen and divided for analysis into two topics: view of diversity raised and organizational or contextual variables mentioned as conditioning factors of various teams.
