Abstract: This paper discusses research conducted generation “Y” attending the various races of the Faculty of Economics at the UNLP. The behavior and interaction of this generation of students in the Social Networks is analyzed. Socioeconomic characteristics are described, economic, social, political and cultural ideology of students. Model of consumer personality of Gen Y through a confirmatory factor analysis of several variables subject to study is presented. It is then determined by the Cluster segments that best describes the modern view of consumption that this generation has finally describe them through their life styles and value analysis.
