Title: El impacto de los trabajos de Daniel KAHNEMAN en la Administración Abstract: The study of decision-making has expanded empirical knowledge on the subject through research and studies that have offered explanations to many of the questions that are usually made. One of those questions had to do with whether the decision of the executive was only a rational type, or if there was also some intuition and emotion when deciding. The aim of this work is to consider the contributions made by Daniel Kahneman and several of his collaborators, especially those which are related to administration, in order to start finding possible answers to the above mentioned question. For the development of the topic proposed Daniel Kahneman and colleagues’ thinking is analyzed, through the available literature. Different pieces of work that integrate their ideas are reviewed, highlighting those that especially impact on Administration. As a result of this work we can see the relationship that naturally exists between what Kahneman called System 1 (intuitive) and System 2 (rational), exposing the errors and biases of quick thinking and the influence of the intuitive on our thinking and behavior.
