Title: Lo que dice la acedemia sobre los efectos de la aplicacción de prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Empresaria (RSE) Abstract: This paper presents twenty-two academic researches that have dealt with the effects within organizations of the application of CSR practices carried out during the 2008-2016 period in eight countries from different contexts: Spain, Mexico, the United States, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Pakistan. In the first part, a brief summary of each investigation is presented. Then, in order to respond to the proposed objectives, the methodology of content analysis was applied. Main results can be mentioned: 1) the most approached variables by the authors have been the perceptual measures and the accounting 2) regarding the methodologies applied, the quantitative ones stand out: the linear regression analysis, the correlation analysis, as well as the analysis of structural equations. Finally, it is concluded that most of the investigations show positive results that are generated in the organizations before the application of CSR practices, standing out mainly a positive relationship between CSR and profitability, followed by a positive relationship between CSR and business performance, as well as CSR and competitive success.
